Parkland Medical Center to Host Emergency Medical Technician Basic Program

Parkland Medical Center will host an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Basic Program starting Monday September 19th thru January 4, 2006. Classes will be held Monday and Wednesday nights 6p.m. to 10p.m.

The EMT Basic Program provides students with 120 hours of theory and clinical practicum, which prepares each individual to sit for the National EMT Basic Registry Exam. The cost of the program is $600.00 and this includes the cost for the text book and one time National Registry Fee.

All classes will be held in the Nutfield Professional Building, 44 Birch Street in Derry. All interested individuals must attend a mandatory introduction program scheduled for September 14th from 7p.m. to 9p.m. For more information or to register for the class please call (603) 421-2276.
